July 19, 2015 - Fairest Duquaine celebrates polish heritage at Pulaski Polka Days

PULASKI, WI - July 19, 2015 - Heather Duquaine, 2015 Brown County Fairest of the Fair participated in activities at the annual Pulaski Polka Days festival.  The day started off with a parade through the downtown, and then some polka dancing afterwards.

Located in the north-west corner of Brown County, Pulaski celebrated its 37th annual polka festival.  The village comes together each year to bring thousands of visitors from all over the world to celebrate the Official State Dance in Wisconsin.  “It was amazing how many people came out for the parade,” said Duquaine reflecting on her day in Pulaski.  Y100 was also there to pull the large billboard as local 4-H members handed out flyers and bubble gum.

Just like in Pulaski, volunteers and community groups come together each year in August for the Brown County Fair.  For more information about attending or volunteering at the Brown County Fair, visit
