
July 21, 2015 - Fairest Duquaine shares passion for Fair with area Community Groups
GREEN BAY, WI – July 21, 2015 – Heather Duquaine, 2015 Brown County Fairest of the Fair made several visits to area community groups. Duquaine shared her passion for the Fair with the Kiwanis Club of De Pere, De Pere Rotary Club, and De Pere Men’s Club last week, and Howard/Suamico Optimist Club this week. In her presentation Duquaine speaks about her position as the official spokesperson of the Brown County Fair, the unique things to see, and what Duquaine is looking forward to most as Fairest of the Fair.
“It was great meeting new people and connecting with those that have attended the fair over the years”, said Duquaine following her speaking engagement with the De Pere Men’s Club. “Many of them remember when the fairgrounds had a race track. That was a long time ago,” she added. Although a race track no longer exists at the fairgrounds, are a variety of pulls are scheduled during the Fair. Thursday evening there is a Truck Pull, Saturday during the day a Tractor Pull, and Sunday morning a Horse Pull.
De Pere Men’s Club also presented a check in support of the Brown County Fair to Duquaine afterwards.
