Brown County Fair

July 26, 2015 - Fair Royalty Zeamer represents at Denmark Lions Parade

DENMARK, WI – July 26, 2015 –Thousands came out for the Denmark Lions Parade Sunday as part of their annual weekend celebration despite temperatures approaching 90 degrees.  The Brown County Fair was represented in the parade by Katelyn Zeamer, 2015 Brown County Fair Royalty.  Throughout the parade route, Zeamer invited onlookers to the Brown County Fair, which starts August 19th.
“It is great to see the smiles on all of the kid’s faces when you wave at them” said Zeamer.  Wearing a sash and tiara as Fair Royalty, one of Zeamer’s favorite things was seeing a little girl along the parade route who pointed to her saying “that’s going to be me some day.”  Zeamer said, “I looked at that girl, smiled and waved back and thought – yes, that will be you!”
The Brown County Fair will have its own parade of tractors on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 11 a.m.  The route starts at the fairgrounds; through De Pere, over the Claude Allouez Bridge, to Voyager Park, and back.  There is no fee to be in the parade and anyone from the county is welcome.
